We spent a cold evening singing Christmas carols throughout the neighborhood. Runners would go ahead and knock on doors to give the homes a heads up that we were coming. Afterwards, the YM leaders warmed us up with hot cocoa and yummy doughnuts.

2008 Turkey Bowl
Happy Thanksgiving! We woke up to Turkey Bowl with our neighborhood. It was a perfect morning for the game and it's fun to go watch & cheer... and take a few photos too. It's wonderful to see them watch out for one another... the older men, the young men and boys. Everyone takes part in the fun...

2008 YW Camp Shalom
Highlights this year:
Wonderful Y/W leaders & young women, Camp Happy Feet, yummy meals, girl time, night time in our cabins talking, giggling and singing, making tootsie roll poopies and putting them in the toilets, stealing camp flags from others wards and mixing them up, time around the campfire, yoga (NOT pretty), sister Loveless braiding hair, chicken taco chicken taco, snipe hunting, humanitarian projects, camp bunny rabbit, playing games, camp crafts, shampoos with warm water (thanks sister Christensen), RS visit, stargazing, Sister Kirkby getting locked in food cabin, canoeing on the lake, confidence course, hiking to the snow this year, bishopric night with pies, singing in the meadow and testimony meeting (which makes all the hard work worthwhile). It was a wonderful time and we all came home very tired and dirty, but with smiles on our faces.
