2009 YM YW Burning Homework
Last night at church, the youth went up the canyon for our annual burn your homework & wienie roast activity to celebrate the end of the school year. Substantial paper piles that have clearly been saved throughout the year. Afterwards, they played missionary tag and had a great time chasing each other around.

2009 YW Laurels Sewing
Tonight for church, our young women learned new sewing skills while making a handy little bag... only thing was that Jeannie Christensen and I could not figure out the pattern for the greater part of the evening until we called Kathy Jo McKinlay who thankfully came running over in her cute pjs and helped us out. THANK YOU!!! (Have I told you how much I LOVE my church family?) They turned out darling and the girls had a lot of fun being together. We took good notes so when we want to make more and we lose our minds... we will find it again :)

2009 YM & YW Draper Temple Open House
e took the youth to the LDS Temple open house in Draper. We are blessed to live close to so many temples and to have this opportunity to go and view the temple inside before it is dedicated. It was an amazing experience. It is beautifully designed with dark woods and clean lines. Inside there is such a peace that is noticeably different from the outside world. We are truly blessed to have the Gospel in our lives.

2008 YM and YW Christmas Caroling
We spent a cold evening singing Christmas carols throughout the neighborhood. Runners would go ahead and knock on doors to give the homes a heads up that we were coming. Afterwards, the YM leaders warmed us up with hot cocoa and yummy doughnuts.
